Grey Metro Tiles
Our handy blog post shows you how to tile using metro tiles in a variety of patterns and styles, hopefully inspiring you to bring some metro magic into your own house.
Metro tiles are small and versatile, so there are many possibilities for how to utilise them. Tiles from floor to ceiling or just use a few to make a statement.
Grout for grey metro tiles
When you’re choosing your grey metro tiles, it’s really important to decide which colour you’d like. It might not seem exciting, but grout can completely change the look of your space.
For a uniform look and to give the appearance that your room is larger, pair your grey metro tiles with grey grout. This will also give the impression of tile edges flowing into one another.
For the opposite effect, pair a contrasting grout (white, black or a funky shade) with your grey metro tiles to disrupt the flow and make the individual tile shape pop out. This is a great idea if you want to emphasise the pattern of your tiling, for example, if you’re using a herringbone design.
Grey metro tiles
With so many grey shades out there, we advise ordering some free samples of grey metro tiles to see which colour works for you. A good starting point is our Artisan range which includes three lovely shades of grey from light to dark.
Another of our gorgeous grey metro tiles is the Fabulous Mini Pizarra as you can see here in Hannah’s Kitchen renovation.
